Trap

Trap is a genre of hip-hop and electronic dance music that originated in the Southern United States during the late 1990s and early 2000s. It is characterized by heavy, deep 808 bass drums, fast triplet hi-hats, and a dark, atmospheric, or aggressive mood. Today, trap is a dominant global sound that influences mainstream pop, rap, and festival culture.
